Great Alliance BJJ team training today!
Thanks to the guys from London and Jeff Joslin for coming down with his guys from Hamilton. We had a lot of rounds of rolling, it was really fun for everybody. We had some new belt promotions Congrads to Rob for being a long-time and dedicated student that likes to test his skill on grappling tournaments as well as MMA – well deserved brown belt Rob! I am really proud of Richard for his amazing dedication. He started training BJJ in his 50s and is now achieving a brown belt at the age of 66 – not sure, but Richard might be the oldest BJJ brown belt in Canada. Congrads to Kevin on achieving his purple belt, who likes to test himself and complete on a lot of tournaments, and Brian and Deacon, who are also really dedicated BJJ students and competitors, for their blue belt. Great performance everyone at the grading! Congratulations everyone for your hard work!
We are all looking forward to the next team training!
Let’s congratulate Patrick, Kevin, and Tony for an excellent performance at the Grappling Industries Tournament in Hamilton today. Patrick won a gold medal in the gi open weight & open belt division, and submitted all his opponents but one. Kevin won gold in his blue belt gi and no-gi division. Tony won a bronze in his blue belt gi division.
Awesome work! Keep training guys!
Alliance wins the 1st place team award at the IBJJF World Championships for the 9th time! Congrats to Alliance instructor instructor Romero Cavalcati and other team founders Fabio Gurgel and Alexandre Paiva on the big win.
What a great day of Brazilian Ju-Jitsu technique & training at our seminar with Master Romero “Jacare” Cavalcanti! Thanks to everyone who came out to support the event and congratulations to my good friend Dragan on being awarded the 2nd stripe on his blackbelt.
It’s always a pleasure watching Master Jacare teach class. I started training with him nearly two decades ago and he is an amazing BJJ’er, teacher and person. Thanks for the great seminar Master Jacare!
